Week 21: January 16-20, 2023

01/16/23

Week 21 Message: Good evening. Here are this week’s reminders.

It’s time for our winter iReady. All students in grades K-5 will complete a reading and math diagnostic with their teacher. Students who are absent will make up the assessments when they return. Parents will receive a copy of these results at the end of February.

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will participate in the Georgia Health Survey on Tuesday, January 17. More information about the survey can be found on our website.

We are currently looking for two additional parents to add to our school council. Look for more information about this opportunity to come home in Thursday folders this week.

Please help us keep our students safe by following morning drop off protocols. Parents should use the car rider lanes, not our front parking, to drop off their students. The parking lot is reserved for parents who choose to park and walk their students to the crosswalk to ensure their safety.

Congratulations to Mrs. Deal, Mrs. Morgan, and Ms. Whitworth’s classes on winning our surprise attendance day last week! All three classes had perfect attendance with no tardies. We will continue to honor classes with good attendance this school year.

Those are all of our announcements for this week. We look forward to seeing our Bears in the morning!
